Location: Harvard Medical School

Eligibility: All middle school (Domestic and International) students can join.

Registration: Students can register either in teams of 4 or individually. If registering individually, the officials will create groups and notify the participants about a week after final registration closes.

Trailblazers Challenge

Format:

Each team can to earn up to $300K in seed funding by completing the following tasks successfully:
 

1. 3 Performance Challenges ($50K / Challenge)
2.
Demo Day Pitch ($150K)

Awards:

All students will get a certificate of participation.

The top two teams which raise the most amount of seed funding from investors and clinical experts will be awarded the following prizes:

Grand Prize: Career session with ENT Surgeons at Harvard Massachusetts General Hospital

Runner Up Prize: Internship opportunity with Harvard MEDScience Moonshot Foundations Summer Program (June - July 2025)

Q: Can international students or/and non-US citizens join this competition?
A: Yes! Moonshot Pathfinders is a competition designed to foster the interests of emerging medical and engineering talents from all around the world.

Q: Is there anything I have to prepare before the competition?
A: There are no prerequisites or preparation required.

Q:  Are lunch and snacks provided?
A: Yes! Everything you need on that day is included in the registeration fee. Accomodations are not included and need to be organized separately by students and parents.
